Watkinson Library and College Archives is divided into different collecting areas. Watkinson Library collects rare books, prints, maps, and other special collections materials. In addition, there are three archival collecting areas: Manuscripts, College Archives, and Born Digital Collections. We are also the access point for the Trinity College Art Collection.

The Watkinson also serves as an access point to the Hartford Medical Society Library collection.
